Gehry imagines his buildings and, prior to any engineering, first builds a paper mock-up. Charming, isnt’t it?
così come pare che non tutte queste finestre siano esattamente uguali…

poco distante il Colorium, un edificio di 18 piani disegnato da Alsop & Partners, dà un tocco alla Mondrian in un’area in cui antico e moderno si integrano in maniera così leggiadra.
nearby, the Colorium, an 18 storey tower designed by Alsop & Partners, gives a Mondrian-style touch in an area where ancient and modern match so lightely.
non sfuggono allo sguardo gli uomini-geco dagli arti pinnati che risalgono la parete post-industriale di un edificio bruttino… sembrano invasori da un altro mondo, ma rassicura il saluto amichevole di coloro che hanno già raggiunto la sommità. In fondo, sembrerebbe, vale la pena arrampicarsi…
you can’t even avoid the sight of the flipper-armed gecko-men climbing the post-industrial facade of an ugly building… they look like invaders from another planet. Yet it is encouraging the hello from those who have already reached the top. It seems it’s absolutely worth climbing.
